Video Editor & Script Writer

Create scroll-stopping video content and compelling scripts for our D2C brands' paid social campaigns, driving engagement and conversions across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and versatile Video Editor & Script Writer to join our in-house creative team in Hanoi. You'll be responsible for producing high-performing video ads and writing persuasive scripts that drive results for our portfolio of D2C brands across global markets.

In this role, you'll combine your storytelling skills with data-driven insights to create content that captures attention in the first 3 seconds and converts viewers into customers. You'll work closely with our growth marketing team, understanding what works and iterating quickly to produce winning creative at scale.

What You'll Do

Edit and produce high-quality short-form video ads (15-60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Write compelling ad scripts, hooks, and CTAs that resonate with target audiences and drive conversions
Create UGC-style content, product demos, unboxing videos, testimonials, and lifestyle content
Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing different hooks, formats, and messaging angles
Research trending content formats, sounds, and editing styles across social platforms
Collaborate with marketing team to analyze ad performance and iterate on winning concepts
Manage and organize raw footage, assets, and project files efficiently
Produce 15-25+ video assets per week across multiple brands

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably for e-commerce, D2C brands, or performance marketing
Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video ads and social media content
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or CapCut
Excellent copywriting skills with ability to write persuasive hooks and scripts in English
Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content trends
Ability to work fast and produce high volume of quality content under deadlines
Eye for aesthetics, pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Nice to Have

Experience with motion graphics and animation
Basic filming/shooting skills for in-house content production
Experience with AI tools for video editing (Runway, Descript, etc.)
Understanding of direct response marketing principles
Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
Experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or home goods content
