About the Creative Team
The creative team turns product angles, customer pain points, and campaign learnings into short-form video ads that can be tested quickly across paid social channels.
This role is for someone who can both write and edit: you understand hooks, pacing, captions, visual proof, UGC-style storytelling, and the difference between content that looks nice and creative that helps a campaign learn.
What You'll Create
- Short-form ecommerce video ads for TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, and other paid social placements.
- Hooks, scripts, captions, on-screen text, product demos, UGC-style edits, and direct-response creative variations.
- Creative testing batches based on product angles, customer objections, benefits, social proof, and campaign feedback.
- Reusable editing patterns, script structures, and creative notes that help the team produce faster over time.
Responsibilities
- Write concise scripts and hooks that make product benefits clear in the first few seconds.
- Edit videos with strong pacing, captions, cuts, visual hierarchy, and mobile-first composition.
- Turn briefs, product pages, customer reviews, and competitor references into creative concepts.
- Create multiple variants for testing different angles, hooks, formats, CTAs, and proof points.
- Work with growth marketers and designers to learn from performance feedback and improve future creative.
Representative Problems
- A product has a useful feature, but the current ad explains it too slowly. Rewrite and edit the first 5 seconds.
- A campaign needs 10 new creative variations by angle, not just 10 visual copies of the same idea.
- A video has good footage but weak retention. Improve pacing, captions, structure, and proof without making it feel overproduced.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Have 2+ years of video editing, content production, script writing, or performance creative experience.
- Can write direct, natural English scripts for ecommerce products and short-form ads.
- Are comfortable editing in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Understand short-form pacing, hooks, captions, UGC style, TikTok/Meta creative formats, and mobile-first viewing.
- Can take feedback quickly and produce improved versions without needing every detail specified upfront.
Strong candidates may also have
- Experience with D2C brands, ecommerce products, paid social ads, product demos, landing-page creative, or creative testing.
- Experience using AI tools for script drafting, ideation, storyboard exploration, captioning, or editing workflow acceleration.
Candidates need not have
- A formal film degree.
- Experience with every editing or motion tool.
- A perfectly linear career path.
Logistics
Minimum education: College diploma, associate degree, vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through shipped videos, creative work, content production, ad editing, script writing, or professional training.
Minimum years of experience: 2+ years of video editing, content production, script writing, or performance creative experience. Seniority will be assessed based on creative judgment, execution speed, writing clarity, and portfolio quality.
Location-based hybrid policy: Hanoi hybrid is preferred. Remote-flexible arrangements can be considered for exceptional candidates in Vietnam.
Compensation: Monthly Salary VND 14,000,000 - 20,000,000 gross. This range is base monthly gross salary. The compensation package also includes guaranteed 13th-month salary and may include performance-based bonus depending on company and individual results.
