About the Creative Team
The creative team turns product angles, customer pain points, and campaign learnings into short-form video ads that can be tested quickly across paid social channels.
This internship is for someone who wants to learn practical performance creative, not just make pretty edits. You will support editors, designers, and growth marketers while building a stronger portfolio of ecommerce videos.
What You'll Learn and Support
- Edit short-form video ads for TikTok, Meta, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social placements.
- Create captions, cuts, pacing, transitions, product demo edits, UGC-style versions, and simple motion elements.
- Research references, competitor ads, hooks, creative angles, customer pain points, and social media formats.
- Prepare creative variations so the team can test different openings, benefits, CTAs, and proof points.
Responsibilities
- Assist with video editing tasks from briefs, raw footage, product pages, testimonials, and reference videos.
- Write or refine simple hooks, captions, on-screen text, and short scripts for ecommerce ads.
- Organize assets, exports, project files, reference folders, and creative notes clearly.
- Produce multiple versions of an edit based on feedback from senior creatives or growth marketers.
- Learn how creative performance signals influence future editing and script decisions.
Representative Tasks
- Take a product benefit and turn it into three different 5-second hooks.
- Edit raw product footage into a 15-30 second vertical ad with captions and a clear CTA.
- Watch a batch of competitor ads and summarize patterns in hooks, pacing, visual proof, and offer framing.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Are a student, recent graduate, self-taught editor, or junior creator with a strong interest in short-form video.
- Have basic editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Pay attention to pacing, captions, hooks, mobile viewing, and social media trends.
- Can write simple English captions or short scripts and are willing to improve quickly.
- Are organized, open to feedback, and comfortable producing several versions of the same creative idea.
Strong candidates may also have
- Personal TikTok/Reels/Shorts projects, school projects, product videos, editing reels, UGC-style ads, or ecommerce content samples.
- Interest in D2C brands, paid social advertising, creative testing, AI-assisted editing, or direct-response storytelling.
Candidates need not have
- Full-time work experience.
- A formal film or media degree.
- A polished professional portfolio. Practice projects and personal samples are welcome.
Logistics
Minimum education: Current student, recent graduate, vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through editing samples, content projects, personal videos, school projects, or a portfolio.
Minimum years of experience: Internship or entry-level role. Portfolio, editing samples, school projects, personal content, or practice videos are welcome.
Location-based hybrid policy: Hanoi hybrid is preferred so you can learn closely with the creative and growth teams.
Compensation: Competitive monthly internship allowance. Final stipend is discussed based on internship scope, schedule, and current skill level.
