About MISEN

MISEN is building a trusted technology ecosystem where people, teams, and businesses can reach more of their potential through practical software, thoughtful automation, and responsible AI.

Our mission is to create technology that works at the intersection of business and humanity: systems that reduce friction, improve decision-making, and help teams operate with more clarity, speed, and confidence.

About the Storefront Team

The storefront team builds ecommerce surfaces that customers experience directly: landing pages, product pages, collection pages, checkout-adjacent flows, reusable theme sections, and campaign pages.

This role is ideal for a front-end developer who enjoys turning designs and growth ideas into polished Shopify experiences. We value clean implementation, performance, maintainable Liquid, practical use of AI tools, and attention to conversion details.

What You'll Build

  • Shopify 2.0 theme sections, blocks, templates, and reusable storefront components.
  • Campaign landing pages, product detail pages, bundles, offer pages, and content modules.
  • Flexible theme settings, metafields, metaobjects, and content structures for non-technical operators.
  • Responsive, accessible, fast-loading storefront UI with clean HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Responsibilities

  • Convert designs, briefs, and product requirements into production-ready Shopify theme code.
  • Build modular sections that marketing and ecommerce teams can safely reuse and configure.
  • Improve storefront performance, mobile UX, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Integrate Shopify apps, custom scripts, tracking snippets, and dynamic content carefully.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools where helpful, while owning code quality, testing, and final implementation judgment.

Representative Problems

  • A campaign team needs a new landing page format that can be reused across multiple products without developer support each time.
  • A product page is visually polished but slow on mobile. Find the bottlenecks and improve the user experience without breaking conversion tracking.
  • A design has complex responsive behavior. Translate it into maintainable Liquid, CSS, and theme settings.

You May Be a Good Fit If You

  • Have 3+ years of front-end or Shopify theme development experience.
  • Are strong with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive UI, and practical browser debugging.
  • Have experience with Shopify Liquid, Shopify 2.0 sections, theme settings, metafields, or ecommerce storefronts.
  • Care about performance, mobile quality, maintainability, and conversion-focused implementation.
  • Can collaborate with designers, marketers, and operators without needing every detail specified upfront.

Strong candidates may also have

  • Experience with Tailwind, modern CSS, animation, A/B testing tools, analytics tags, Shopify apps, or headless ecommerce.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, v0, or similar tools to accelerate front-end development responsibly.

Candidates need not have

  • Experience with every Shopify app or theme framework.
  • A computer science degree.
  • A perfectly linear career path.

Logistics

Minimum education: College diploma, associate degree, vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through shipped storefronts, theme development, ecommerce work, front-end projects, or professional training.

Minimum years of experience: 3+ years of front-end or Shopify theme development experience. Seniority will be assessed based on shipped work, implementation quality, debugging depth, and communication.

Location-based hybrid policy: Hanoi hybrid is preferred. Remote-flexible arrangements can be considered for exceptional candidates in Vietnam.

Compensation: Annual Salary USD $12,000 - $20,000 gross. This range is base annual gross salary. The compensation package also includes guaranteed 13th-month salary and may include performance-based bonus depending on company and individual results.

Deadline to apply: None. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

We encourage you to apply: You do not need to meet every single qualification. Strong candidates may come from different backgrounds, and we care most about storefront craft, implementation judgment, reliability, and learning speed.

What We Offer

  • Transparent annual salary range, guaranteed 13th-month salary, and performance-based quarterly or year-end bonus depending on company and individual results.
  • Full salary during probation and benefits in accordance with company policy and Vietnam Labor Law.
  • 15+ days of paid annual leave, company holidays, and regular team activities or company events.
  • Hanoi hybrid is preferred, with remote-flexible arrangements considered for strong candidates in Vietnam.
  • Practical, high-ownership work where storefront quality, speed, and maintainability matter.
  • Hands-on ownership of real ecommerce storefronts, landing pages, Shopify theme systems, and conversion-focused UI.
  • A workflow where AI tools are welcome, as long as quality, maintainability, and final judgment stay with the developer.
  • Direct collaboration with design, growth, and ecommerce operators so your work ships quickly and has visible business impact.
