About the Product Engineering Team
The product engineering team builds software for real operational complexity. Our work often starts with a messy business process, a manual spreadsheet, a painful approval flow, or a decision that takes too long. We turn those problems into reliable products that teams can use every day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving from ambiguity to clarity, shipping software that makes complicated work feel simpler, and asking not only how to implement something, but why it matters and how users will trust it.
Responsibilities
- Own full product slices from architecture and data modeling to UI, launch, and iteration.
- Build with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and modern API patterns.
- Integrate LLM APIs, tool-calling, structured outputs, and AI-assisted workflows into real products.
- Improve reliability, observability, testing, performance, and developer experience.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and business stakeholders.
Representative Projects
- Build a workflow dashboard that turns a manual operating process into a traceable product experience.
- Design and implement a permissioned approval flow with audit logs and clear user actions.
- Integrate an LLM-powered assistant into an existing product surface with structured outputs and validation.
- Refactor a backend data model so new product surfaces can ship faster and more safely.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have shipped real products, not only prototypes.
- Are strong in TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Think clearly about security, reliability, latency, and product trade-offs.
- Pick up ownership even when it goes beyond a narrow job description.
Strong candidates may also have
- Experience with AI agents, RAG, evals, workflow orchestration, permissions, or audit logs.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, internal platforms, or integration-heavy products.
- Strong written communication through technical docs, specs, architecture notes, or case studies.
Candidates need not have
- A formal AI research background.
- Experience with every tool in our stack.
- A perfectly linear career path.
Logistics
Minimum education: College diploma, associate degree, vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through shipped products, complex systems, open-source work, technical leadership, or professional training.
Minimum years of experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Seniority will be assessed based on ownership scope, system complexity, product judgment, and communication.
Location-based hybrid policy: Hanoi hybrid is preferred. Remote-flexible arrangements can be considered for exceptional candidates.
Compensation: Annual Salary USD $25,000 - $40,000 gross. This range is base annual gross salary. The compensation package also includes guaranteed 13th-month salary and may include performance-based bonus depending on company and individual results.
